STS was honored to participate in the Bapco Upstream Heat Stress Awareness Campaign Launch Event, held at Awali Hall on 8 June 2026, where industry leaders, stakeholders, and contractors came together to reinforce their commitment to workforce health, well-being, and safety during the summer season.

The event was attended by executive management representatives from Bapco Upstream, Bapco Gas, Bapco Refining, and Bapco Air Fueling, as well as representatives from the Ministry of Labour, reflecting a shared commitment to advancing occupational health and safety across the industry.

Representing STS, Mr. Muhammed Ansar, HSE Manager, delivered a presentation on the STS Heat Stress Program, highlighting the company’s proactive initiatives, preventive measures, and best practices designed to protect employees from heat-related illnesses and promote a safe working environment during periods of high-temperature exposure.

We are grateful for the opportunity to share our experience and contribute to this important platform alongside fellow contractors. The event provided a valuable opportunity for collaboration, knowledge exchange, and the promotion of effective heat stress management strategies across the sector.

STS extends its sincere appreciation to Mr. Nadeem Kamal, Head of Occupational Health and Industrial Hygiene at Bapco Upstream, for the invitation and for creating a platform that encourages industry-wide engagement on this critical health and safety topic.

We would also like to thank Bapco Energies leadership and the Ministry of Labour for their continued support of initiatives that strengthen workplace health and safety standards.

At STS, we remain committed to safeguarding the health and well-being of our workforce through continuous improvement, awareness, and the implementation of robust occupational health programs. We look forward to continuing our collaboration with industry partners to promote a safer and healthier working environment for all.
