In a continuous effort to enhance our safety culture, STS recently hosted the Business Partner HSE Forum 2026 in Muscat under the theme “Visible Leadership • Invest in Our Workforce.”

The forum brought together STS leadership, HSE professionals and key Business Partners for a focused engagement aimed at strengthening collaboration, sharing HSE learnings and reinforcing our collective journey from HSE compliance to HSE excellence. The programme included leadership addresses, HSE performance and incident learnings, Visible & Felt Leadership, the Cost of Silence, employee welfare, workforce engagement, current operational challenges, HSE initiatives, an open forum and Business Partner recognitions.

A key message throughout the forum was that sustainable HSE performance is achieved not only through systems and procedures, but through visible leadership, trust, workforce engagement and timely action at the work front. Leaders and Business Partners were encouraged to listen actively, remove barriers, recognize positive interventions and create an environment where employees feel empowered to speak up, stop work and act when something is not right.

The forum also reinforced the importance of converting discussions and commitments into visible and measurable actions across our workplaces, with stronger leadership presence and continued collaboration with our Business Partners. STS also recognized selected Business Partners for demonstrating strong HSE performance and commitment in critical operational areas.

At STS, we believe that achieving Goal Zero requires genuine partnership. We remain committed to supporting our workforce and proudly congratulate our 2026 HSE Excellence Award winners for their outstanding field performance.
