EPC of Amin On-Plot Water Injection Development

Client: Petroleum Development Oman (PDO)

The On-Plot EPC Contract scope consists of Engineering design, Detailed Design, procurement including expediting, inspection & testing, packing for shipment, shipment insurance, delivery to Site, unloading at Site of all equipment’s and materials, complete fabrication, erection and Installation, painting, Site testing, Pre-Commissioning and Commissioning, performance test, training of Company staff and handover of the Amin water injection plant.

Civil

On plot civil, structural and architectural scope covering

  • Site preparation works
  • Construction of complete civil works in the new plant
  • Construction of elevated control building, switchgear buildings. AC units, transformer foundations, Equipment foundations etc.
  • Fabrication and installation of structural steel sunshades for pumps, instrument air compressors and chemical storage yard.
  • Fabrication and installation of steel pipe support, pipe rack, operating platform & crossovers.
  • Construction of new access roads, Earth work excavation and backfilling for Electrical & Instrumentation trenches, plant foundations and transformer foundations.
  • Supply and installation of fencing and gate works.

  • Fabrication, erection, testing and commissioning of Equipment’s, various on-plot piping works.
  • Fabrication and installation of Tie-ins, tie -ins to existing facilities
  • Painting of on-plot piping/equipment’s.
  • Installation of rotating equipment’s like pumps, Instrument Air packages etc.,
  • Fabrication and Installation of FWKO Tanks (2 Nos), Water Injection Pumps (6 Nos), emulsion pumps (2 Nos) and Drain pumps.
  • Installation of Instrument Air Comp. Skid including Air Receiver, AP Flare package including air blower, Drain Vessel, Chemical Injection skids, & Instrument Air package.
  • Fuel gas system comprising of fuel gas filter, fuel gas heater & pressure reducing valves.
  • Fabrication and Installation of on plot piping including valves, safety relief valves, PVV’s, Suction strainers etc.
  • Cleaning, bevelling, aligning butt fusion welding, leak testing of pipe sections.
  • Fabrication, NDT and hydro testing of piping spool pieces.
  • The material construction of on plot piping as per material selection
  • Supply and construction of new on-plot piping as per PEFS, Plot Plan, Piping GA’s
  • Supply and Installation of Pipe track, Sleepers, piping and equipment supports etc.
  • Fabrication, welding, inspection, NDT, Painting, coating, insulation and Hydro testing works

  • Electrical system to accommodate the new Amin Station (facilities).
  • Installation of 6 No. of 33/11.5kV unit transformers and associated NER’s
  • Installation of 6 No. of 11kV indoor circuit breaker with associated protection Interlocks and control panels
  • Installation of 2 No. of VSD panels and associated transformers.
  • Installation of 2 No. of power transformers, 2 No. of Auxiliary transformers and associated facilities.
  • Installation of switchboards, feeders, control panel, sockets, junction boxes, remote control units, cable glands and all required accessories for the entire power distribution system.
  • Lightning protection systems
  • Building lighting, area lighting , fence lighting, Emergency lighting, escape route lighting and small with all required fittings, supports and accessories.

  • Instrumentation system to accommodate the new Amin Station(facilities).
  • Supply and installation of all instrument equipment’s like transmitters, gauges, junction box, control valves, BGUs, H2S detectors etc
  • All field cabling and termination for the Amin water injection facility
  • F&G system installation and testing
  • Installation of HVAC and CCTV systems
  • Installation of testing of telecommunications, CCTV, UPS, LAN and access control systems
  • Installation of FOC cables
  • Installation of control room equipment’s and testing.
  • Conduct Pre-commissioning, Testing , commissioning activities.
