CMEI works for Construction, Fabrication, installation, and pre-commissioning of all well site facilities (equipment and utilities) required for both the Gas Production Wells and the Water Disposal Wells (Phase 1 – 56 wells, Phase 2 – 40 wells). STS shall pre-fabricate the well site facility components at STS fabrication facility in Nizwa and then install them at the Khazzan worksite. The Skid and Tie-in spool assembly arrangements to be assembled fully piped and wired as final packages, inspected and tested prior to dispatch for installation at site. The well site facilities include Well head process module skid, Utilities skid, Tie-in spools assemblies, Electrical RMU and 3.3kV/0.435kV Transformer.

  • Procure, fabricate, install/construct, test, inspect, check and complete the Civil/Structural Works for the Well Facilities. These works shall include fencing, cable trenches, pipe supports, guard posts, structural steel and foundations for all skids and other EQUIPMENT, and all temporary and permanent Civil/Structural Works.
  • Standardization and pre-fabrication of civil and structural work such as combined precast concrete support foundations for pipe and tray, common sleeper designs for skids etc.
  • Procure, fabricate, install/construct, test, inspect, check and complete the mechanical works for the Well Facilities. The WORK shall include: pre-fabrication of well head process modules and utility skids in a clean off-site environment and preparation for shipping to the WORKSITE.
  • Pre-fabrication, testing and preparation of interconnecting CL 10000# Super duplex and Cl 1500# and CL 600# duplex hook-up pipe spools which are separate to the pipe spools defined above.
  • Supply, pre-fabrication, testing and preparation of carbon steel vent pipe work.
  • Installation of well site skids, Tie-in Spools, hook-up spools, vent pipe work and all interconnecting materials at the WORKSITE.
  • Provision of bolting and gaskets and installation of all interconnecting and vent piping.
  • All piping to be submitted to hydrotest before delivery to site.
  • Carrying out gross leak testing at site using nitrogen.
  • Shall procure, install, test pre-commission and commission all electrical EQUIPMENT and associated systems and materials to achieve a fully functioning and integrated facility at each and every well site.
  • Installation of earth grids/beds, including earth rods and deep well ground beds complete with necessary CP EQUIPMENT within and outside of each well facility.
  • Installation of all LV electrical supply, electrical EQUIPMENT and control cabling and earthing systems including bonding any cad-weld connections.
  • Procurement of HV termination kit.
  • Installation, testing and termination of the 3.3kV power supply cables onto the well site RMU.
  • Procurement and installation of all electrical EQUIPMENT including, 3.3kV RMUs, 3.3kV/0.435kV transformers with an integral LV feeder, 415V LVDB, CP transformer-rectifiers, and control panels.
  • Procurement, installation, and commissioning of socket outlets .
  • Procurement and installation of cable containment for electrical power and control cables, electrical earthing system
  • Procurement, installation and commissioning of permanent Cathodic Protection (CP) Systems including the permanent ICCP system, with associated ICCP transformer rectifier, cables and necessary power distribution.
  • Procurement of instrument installation fittings, including tubing and fittings, instrument stands, nuts, bolts, labels
  • Installation and testing of all instrumentation cabling on the process module skid and Utility Skid and hydraulic hoop-ups
  • Site checking of cable tray routes prior to fabrication and installation.
  • Earthing and bonding.
